MEDITATION TAUS
mesmerizing mosaics
milling around in minuscule
mobiles
music so magnetic
making mind's eye mandate
a mantra
a matrix
a meandering of spirit

Love that you used a particular literary device (alliteration) to form the sound in this poem. It fits the meditative sound of the taus perfectly -- I really enjoyed listening to these songs today, researching and writing for this prompt! Thanks for sharing.

The alliteration is very effective, making this a lot of fun to read aloud.

The repetition of the MMMMs creates the hum of the musical notes. Cleverly done!

These, in order, sound really nice, "a mantra, a matrix, and a meandering. These seem totally unrelated in their being and function, yet the sound rings nicely.
ReplyDeleteI also wrote my poem on the Taus, and have posted a different YouTube than you. I saw one being played without a bow, rather the strings were strummed, on my iPad but when it came time to write and post I could not find it for a second posting.

I was captivated by this sound and I agree with Kerry - the mmm's vibrate and hum.
