This Moon Is Enough
After an early supper,
There was she, hung
Bright bold and round,
The night moon;
I thought she was a supermoon,
Oh but no,
She was just the Februrary moon,
Shinning for me,
To end my birthday,
The waitress said,
There is a new ice cream shop,
On the floor below,
I said to myself,
This moon is enough.

I love how the moon fills up your poem, Gillena! I can see why the moon is enough, ‘bright bold and round’ and shining just for you on your birthday.
