 Memories

Saltfish accras were a breakfast treat

I'd sit on a kitchen stool to eat

Shuurr the sound of falling into oil

Hot enough to fry or boil

Food and fancy are still

The taste memories never at will

Let go of her cooking

  8. Gillena the picture of the accra makes me hungry for it. Thank you for linking to the recipe. Will try to find salted cod. If not, I'll use regular cod :)

  12. Fish for breakfast? Hmmm. They look almost good enough for a non-fish-eater to sample.
