This Is Halloween — The Nightmare Before Christmas
So to grin and to grin
For tis the night we almost win
Next year to try again the sin
To lure all humans to the dark
We sing and chant hark hark
For even now a chance to bark
No ravens choose to sing like lark
But edgy dogs keep calling out
We're pumpkins round and stout
Some with lights some gone out
A scary season no doubt no doubt
Season to scare and souls to win

This is deliciously spooky, Gillena! I like the imagery of "no ravens to sing like lark but edgy dogs keep calling out." Thank you so much for writing to the prompt ❤️❤️

Gillena, those repetitions make this poem especially spooky! The creatures of the night like who they are and will never end their mission. Yipes!
