Pressed petals distort the glamour

of courting years,

When words were fresh and unfurled with such ease,

The ghosting of love poems,

Matched his vanishing.

She wasted years, wasting away;

Until one sunny day,

Shielding her eyes from the sun,

She ventured out resolute.

    This is FABULOUS! You've incorporated all three within the one poem....the poem tells a story that fits with the three. And yes....I'm certain many a young woman has some pressed flowers on a shelf, or in a diary or book, that remind her of a time long ago with a person, special at the time. And then you have her wasting away....but gaining strength in the end. This is truly FABULOUS! You nailed it! Cubism to words.
