Whom would you say she was
If she snuck up in front of you
One day
Before Christmas, like milk or cookies
Then again, before New Year confetti

Ah; the sweetest relish
remains on her tongue
Fruity and fresh
Of
An apple plucked, without blemish
Without regret
Ah yes! they both tasted. For they were
Lovers first of all

Is she then Eve
Or is she then Eva

Aha! The absence of blossom
The laden tree
Now harvest time sets in
