Penny for thoughts? mine's worth more,
Why begrudge with such tiny offering,
As done in yon ancient yore,
Darnel  and wheat  a harvest to gather,
Of toil and endurance mine's worth more,
Life we know from struggle and reward,
Sets to slumber and to snore,
When  the harvest moon alights every sky,
With dreams and legends and fervent lore,
Dreamer and doctor fisher and farmer
Field a plenty, mine's worth more.
