Monday WRites 194

WHEN THE CHILDREN PARADE
Here comes morning carrying her jug of sunlight
Here comes the twittering birds oh such a delight
The songs they sing of beauty and of colour
The tales they tell each one to the other

A rainbow in the sky adds her smile
Clouds are cousins their hugs span for miles
Something's in the preparation pot
Something's in the brewing oh so hot

Stripes of a zebra stamped black and white
And a lion may decide to be a kite
All this is possible fun is here too
And trucks full of music are there too

Here comes the Sunday of Carnival
Happily toting its boys and gals
