THIS MASK
What's behind these hazel eyes, sigh!
years added up,
scored sixty-eight,
with moons, some blue.

The mask is a beauty aid, sigh!
merely to wear,
only minutes,
pause and refresh;

Once that mask is removed then, yeah!
for worth of care,
tis fresh new mien,
hey world out there;

Watch out, for life's worth living, yeah!
dashing, daring,
diva, demure,
today's a dare.
