ADIEU - A FOLD
Be it a wave, a sigh, a kiss, a hug
The language of goodbye speaks of faith
In various tongues says my coffee mug
With a spray of flowers and a phoenix
Whether a wave, a sigh, a kiss, a hug
Regret heals, spins a tale of we meet again
To break bread near the milk jug
How has it been, this journeying, hmm
Hot, cold, lovely, painful, warm, snug
As a ladybug on a leaf oh so pretty
Hope too; does a wave, a sigh, a kiss, a hug

  10. Hugs are gifts we get to keep forever. They have always been important to me. And these days--when we can't give as many hugs as we might want--they feel even more important.
