Silver edges a morning cloud,
A waxing sun so silent so slow,
Spider in her web-binous proud,
Patterns a song with threads aglow,

Patterns a song with threads aglow,
Like the lace of a ladies crochet edge,
To her signature hanky hidden below,
A trousseau awaiting a pledge.

  7. What could be more delicate than lace or spiderwebs? :-) I particularly like your repeated line, 'Patterns a song with threads aglow'. I agree with Sanaa – nice form!

  15. A very soft poem fits the prompt well. Some yet pretty like the best lace.
