Monday WRites 227

[in my mosaic today: 1. 2020 Calendar, 2. 2020 favourite mug gift from my sister Gail, 3. my Christmas tree stays up for one more week]

The new year, not yet a week old, i make no resolutions. Consciously, however, i want to stick to my early morning exercise routine in my backyard. I have so far narrowed it down to not less than one thousand natural walking steps and some stretches. Then i reward myself with a fruit smoothie. I have let go of minutes. It doesn't work for me. Sometimes my right knee hurts, so i will on those mornings stop at a thousand steps. My sneakers are ragged, note to self, i must make the time to buy a new pair.

  5. Gillena - I have convinced my husband to let me keep the tree up until the end of January! Good for you to work toward your health goal and be realistic about what works for you - much more likely to keep it up! If I lived near you, I would also be hugging the sky! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.
