YOGA
In breath
A clearing sky from grey to azure
Pinks and salmons tinge bird song
Coolness of melons in every matter
Spider webs there sunrays belong

Hold
Life spins millions of tiny particles
Energy can create share or mandate
Such may even be grasp of tentacles
Understanding petals unfold to relate

Release
With gift of ego word a beautiful poem
Disperse compassion to all things unknown
Uncertainty exorcise to a steady low hum
Smile for love of God and seeds well sown

  2. Brilliant write, Gillena! The sequence of "In Breathe, Hold and Release" forms a rhythmic flow that disperses the much needed compassion effectively.
As I was reading this piece, I find myself breathing, holding and releasing accordingly. Thank you!

  12. Yoga Breathing is based on the premise that breath is life-- the most vital function by which we live. And the steps are at the core of this poem. Beautifully composed, Gellina.
