Monday WRites 47

MUD MAS
Early Monday morning, and de mud mas come out
An every body who is any body watching
How de mas showoff, walking 'bout
Like he own the road, de road is he own
But wat yuh expect? early Monday, when de mas come out
More whine than a winery could distill
An more mud than a pig with ah snout
Could slobber in ah lifetime
Jouvert, jouvert Monday without a doubt
Dutty smiling mud mas day
Earlier than the sun, de mud mas come out
