EARLY BIRDS - FOLD
Day Clean and Kiskadee,
They say are the worm catchers
Of the fattest kind you see,
They sing dawn's clearing,
These two; Day Clean and Kiskadee,
Here in Trinidad and Tobago;
Pigeons stir early, but as for me,
Song of kis kis ka dee, i listen for;
Grackles too charge their strange fee
To chorus of morning's awakenings,
Adding songs to Day Clean and Kiskadee.

KISKADEE © gillena cox 2018
Kis ka dee, kis ka dee, her bright yellow underbelly
strikes sunlight into the dullest morning.
She calls again kis ka dee, kis ka dee,
What is she saying, she is singing her name.

After cock a doodle doo
Clouds loose their grey hue
Brightening under an azure blue
Kis ka dee, kis ka dee she is singing her name.
