Happy New Year
The sunlight is really bright. For more than half of the day i stay away from two rooms in the house, even though they have curtained windows.
The sunlight just takes over. Besides being hot the brightness is overwhelming. What the sunlight is really saying is, it's Carnival time.
The music on the radio is hotter, saucier. The parang rythms are stored away for another Christmastime

Such a joyful New Year haibun, Gillena, and I love your ixoras, such a rich colour, reflecting the brightness of your prose, and the thought of music on the radio being hotter and saucier.
