BUTTON NOSE OF A DACHSHUND

At the edge of silence

A voice, a name pronounced right

Covid 19 protocols observed

We meet at the gate, but the puppy, sans mask

A bottle of wine is always welcome

Fringe benefits for a surprise visit

I respond to my name knowing and

recognizing the call of a sibling

Long-time-no-see

  4. Thank God this virus did not effect our pets. That would have been tragic, cutting us off completely from affection.

  7. It’s always a delight to meet a friendly dog, especially a dachshund with a button nose, but even more so in these days of isolation. And fringe benefits are welcome too! I would love to see my sister, but she has no pets. It’s my daughter with the button-nosed dogs.
