Monday WRites 267

Sometimes i think, we look at him through the wrong end of the long telescope of time.
Consider the bees hovering over yellow ixoras, gathering sustenance. Leaving footprints of pollen.

Looking at them do we think of fierce stings, like thorns on a pretty rose bush. Or the buzz of honey making in abstract cone like mosaic cubes, poured golden into jars  within reach, on grocery shelves to sweeten temperaments on tea craved days.

  1. I am glad you are talking Christmas - I told my hubby this week I was getting the Xmas tree out early and he was not impressed, I reckon we might as well enjoy for as long as possible don't you?

  30. Ah....well written. In some ways, it's all in our perception, right? However, some things, no matter how perceived, are just vile, wrong, and cruel. But you've given us food (honey!) for thought!
