STILL CARRY YOUR SMILE - A FOLD
Team 'Super Heroes' is called to wear the mask,
Covering our lips but never once our hearts;
We are ready, willing, able to take on the task;
Covering our noses remembering smell of roses,
Carrying smiles though called to wear the mask;
In pain of pandemic the art of learning chalks,
Hand washing songs for a simple multitask,
On a world wide stage of greatest grievance;
Who is watching, who will applaud this masque?
Will there be standing ovations at the end
Of our performance? called to wear the mask.

I love your poem, Gillena. We can still smile behind a mask. It's not hard to do even for those who pout and stamp their feet about having to.

We definitely do not need to cover our hearts. That is part of the problem now.
