CLEAN HANDS
With clean hands, the grasp of a cup of tea,
And hope swirling, rising like steam
Trashing the fury of uncertainty,
Hot in the heart of social distancing,
In a world without hugs, the grasp of a cup of tea;
Cheers for the planet we live on and love,
Passion let it be
That we can approach divine mercy,
In a time, a compassionate era of helpless we
Battle the germ of panic, and
Pray sip in faith, with the grasp of a cup of tea.

  13. I appreciate this, Gillena, especially this line: "In a world without hugs, the grasp of a cup of tea;" I feel the same way about tea and coffee. It kind of is my hug(s) now. I also like the inclusion of Divine Mercy! :D
