Monday WRites 232

[cloudscape 2019 children's carnival event]

MORNING QUADRILLE
Sky, filled with birdsong, morning swaggers on the waves of sunlight
Her only thoughts are short live remembrances of moonbeams and shadows
How does she let herself be sweet talked into the nuances of forever
Knowing full well that Father Time is measured sequence.

Enjoy FEBRUARY ( a month i always claim as my month): month of unfixed days - sometimes 28 sometimes 29 days, my Birthday tomorrow 11, Valentines Day 14, Carnival Monday and Tuesday 24 & 25. Last day of the Season of Carnival is the 25th here in Trinidad.

You've heard about the Monday Blues ❧✿❧ well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance or practice eg the rite of afternoon tea). A Happy Monday to all

  5. One can be sweet talked into all sorts of things. Into the nuances of forever is a tantalizing one.

  7. Gillena - we share February as a birthday month - I just celebrated my birthday this past weekend! I would much rather be drawn into forever than Father Time's measured sequence! Happy Birthday to you, and thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

  10. Knowing full well that
    Father Time is measured sequence.

It is a clock-work program already fashioned to work itself out without promptings!

  15. Nuances of forever is a heady tonic. Actually right at this one very moment is just as lovely and affirming. I have let so much of life pass by in expectation and suppression of what was vital banking on eternity, when eternity includes the right now as well. Measures sequence, always starting now. I really liked this!
