Monday WRites 224

QUADRILLE - GLOW
A warm glow of expectancy,
a knowing of what is already revealed,
keeps coming back,
the affirming, the waiting once more,
is worth the hope of the human heart,
cleansed to fill itself of love,
for one another,

For His sake and our reward.

  2. Welcome to dVerse! Nice to see you here.....oh yes...there is a glow to this season. To me, you are evoking the season of Advent...that comes each year with its promise of a new babe in a manger. Perhaps that's not what you intended...which is alright. Because the mark of a good poet is evoking a response. And you did!

  4. Ah yes i have been told that the warmth in my poems dances to my environment. Yes it does and i appreciate the nusnces and feelings of writings penned from other climes. As poets we share what we have that way

  16. Gillena - your poem resonates with me in so many ways. The "warm glow". The "expectancy". The "cleansing of the heart". You have captured Advent so well. Thanks for lending your talent to Mosaic Monday!
