FLIGHT INTO AZURE
A babe at the feet of Majesty,
Looks up to the sky seeing,
Only layers of chameleon clouds.
Now a giraffe, now a poodle,
An angel, a dragon, waves.
Sharp ears pick up the sound,
Of a jetplane going somewhere,
Overhead in a strait line, between
air and azure.
Who am i, just a flight into azure,
So easily awed.

  2. I love the conclusion, "who am I? Just a flight into azure." This is really nice, thank you.

  7. Just yesterday I laid my infant down to look up at the summer sky and so that glisten of pure joy in the eyes is fresh. I love that the best thoughts come "between air and azure." Thank you, Gillena, and I apologize for my delay in response.
