...Mommy brought her a glass of milk. She didn’t like milk very much. What she liked very much was orange juice. She drank her milk slowly, with some encouraging words from her mommy.
It was now time to brush her teeth, and get into her jammies. (that’s what Zinnia called her pyjamas). She chose the white ones with the coloured kitty cats patterns all over.
Her dad began to read to her a bedtime story. In no time at all, Zinnia was fast asleep; dreaming of ice lollies, and lollipops...

  6. This made me giggle. I didn't like milk either. Still don't. It was a bottle of warm tea me (yes, a bottle, until I was old enough to be ashamed of it... if I cared about that sort of thing).
