Monday WRites 124

RAINDROPS ON LEAVES
Howling winds what are they saying
so important
in the face of
morning sunshine

Yon pigeons in the eaves are shushed
not a coo coo
not a shuffle
only silence

Pellets from rain clouds the leaves hold
an offering
from the heavens
just like manna

  1. The shades of colour and the rain droplets, so pretty each all fresh and green...and soon they shall fade and turn and blow off in the distance and yet these memories shall remain~

  2. Raindrops on leaves are a favourite subject of mine to photograph, too. Your mosaics are brilliant and your verse complements them perfectly.
