WHO KNOWS
With New Year comes freshness,
Here, desires flourish in start-all-over-agains

Accustomed moon, her shift shaping travails ply

Thoughts contour the landscape of goals
Mountains stoic, face diligent climbers
And purpose loom towards havens
Be they dreams, or distant beacons

Streams detour in easy flow
Planners, to-do lists, and calendars afflux
Which bird will fly off, or phoenix rise

The bile and treacle of days to determine

This is an interesting perspective of the mountain enduring the climbers.

  6. I am a moon person, Gillena. I appreciated your line, "Accustomed moon, her shift shaping travails ply." Did you know that this year we've been having special moons? It shows larger and brighter than most every other times. In many years it will, better, may, repeat.
