DAWN'S OBSESSION
Twittered be to morning light
Feathered sirens out of sight

Sometimes to wait in bated breath
Passed now time of dreaming slept

Until they sign each new treaty
Rest assured beguiled to be

Of night's enchanted passing
This affair, passion to proclivity

Feathered sirens out of sight
Twittered be to morning light

  6. I love our feathered friends, but sometimes, just sometimes, wish there was a volume control on dawns chorus...

    1. Happy you dropped in Anna; actually i don't mind the sound volume at all. But what they do is leave droppings in my gallery and on my steps, that part i just accept as part of the routine but i don't like it 🤗

      much love...

  9. I love the way you've expressed the beauty of the dawn and our feathered friends awakening. I live in the woods and they always tell me when the day has truly begun. I enjoyed this so much :-)

  10. Dawn belongs to the feathered friends and nothing can be done about it! Just admire their chirping siren and all!

  11. This reminds me of Cat Stevens "Morning Has Broken." What a beautiful way to express the entrance of a new day.
