BRAVE MEN'S BONES
Insatiable Mistress War
She basks in the interlude of strife
She paints her rouge of dead men's blood
And fancies her nails from his bones

Stalking the shadows of discord
Wrenching in anorexic pangs of hate
Seducing with her hips of disagreement
Watch how we bow now to brave men’s souls

And peace genuflects

  1. I like peace genuflecting. That is a nice touch. Her rouge made of their blood is a vivid image as well.

  2. I really shudder (in a good way) from the chilling image of that insatiable lady.

That is all one can do, to appreciate the sacrifices of brave men. War is just disgusting!
