AUTUMN LEAVES
Where is everyone?
Leaves rest
On the park bench
To pattern loneliness

Leaves rest
Colours
Infuse the Autumn park
Chilled wayfarers move on

On the park bench
a still life
talent of the wind
With masterful strokes

To pattern loneliness
Filling the park
With riotous surreal warmth
Of fallen reds oranges browns

  2. Your leaves on the park bench have a big responsibility don't thet?
I might like to try this form. I can see that the first verse is an outline for the rest of the poem. What is the name of your form?

  4. A still life indeed! It was a rainy day, and this collection of falling leaves was undisturbed - I like the reference to loneliness.
