Monday WRites 28

THE BOOTH
The polling booth,
Somewhat like a confessional,
Here, you alone can practice truth,
About futures
In quickness, hands must steer exceptional,
So as not to put to the test,
The patience of the waiting queue.

  1. Good morning, Gillena. I think the rite I have described in our family picnics on Mt Evans makes my Monday more joyful than "blue" as I now have more memories that bring me joy! Wishing you well, and thank you for hosting Monday WRites. Have a grand day!

  3. Voting as confession. Yes, indeed. One of the few places where we can be counted while remaining private.
