IN REFLECTING - A FOLD
Yet still i recall in reflecting,
As if at logger heads thunder clapped
November streaked in lightning,
Despite her torrid weather,
I still do recall in reflecting,
Days of - will this never cease?
Still, trees are lit now and blinking,
The grinch, maybe was behind it all,
With all his mischief making,
Hope shines through in the end,
As still i recall in reflecting.

BANG Quadrille
Christmas bells chime for me
Golden on my Christmas tree
With a ho ho ho and he he he
A holiday season oh so merry
Santa will drop by with a bang
Who will set the corn a-popping
Making loud sounds in the kitchen

                        With
                        baubles
                         beads and
                      tinsel, our tree
                     of my childhood
                      days, sparkled and
                    glowed through angel
                   hair, everything factory
                       made.
   A
 bit of
   angel hair
     adds to a tree
      a magical touch
       only a child can see,
       like spider web; elegant,
       diaphanous and whimsical
fa la la la la, la la la la, fine,
fa la la la la, a delicate lace
   angel
 hair

THERE MUST BE THREE
"I fell off my horse."  "You fell off your horse! Who does that at your age and with your experience. You should be accustomed to your horse, so much so you should be able to gallop through open fields or tree thronged forest with your eyes closed. So how about the camel. Would you be able to make the ride through the desert to adore the divine baby?"  He didn't answer his wife the queen, instead  he murmured to himself: You drew stars.
Around my scars the skin is still swollen and is looking bluish. Silently, he pondered, those other two magi  cannot make me look bad. I have to heal. And heal quickly.

“You drew stars around my scars” is a line from Taylor Swift we had to use in a prose/ flash fiction
