Those mornings when the rain is hidden in forecast of the night passed; I go outside early to pull up a chair sit in my back yard and watch the daybreak into a splendid today.

I sit in the coolness of the morning in the tender gray, I swim undisturbed. My thought freely connecting with bird songs; caws, whistles, sounds new and old.

Soaking in the aroma of flowers in the crispness of a new day before the butterflies come out to play.

JUMBLE-E JUMBLE-I

That Christmas will be unaffected;

Celebrate your past tokens.

Goodnight my love until we meet;

Out of those crows.

Smell of petrichor;

No! No one wants this.

They are pigeons.

He knew he was fool all the same.

Be, the perfect hue of that moon global.

One more thing, the chrysanthemum, a nice finish.

Wild to wanton it grew;

Midmorning sunshine.

A NICE FINISH - A Cleve Poem

He John,

Made this costume from day one,

With help called in

From his parents whom he could rely on;

Winning was not only

Steady on his mind because of their talents,

But having fun too, he was sure

Yes! winning was in the cards;

That was uppermost if they pitched in.

In his mind too he was the best dancer.

One more thing, the chrysanthemum a nice finish.

 RAINY NOVEMBER

November and still the rains day and night

In social media videos, oh what a sight

The flood's wrath

Lady sun is stingy with her warmth

Serving up cool mornings

And nighttime rain pourings

The hope of Advent cherished

That Christmas will be unaffected

 “That’s the problem with drinking, I thought, as I poured myself a drink. If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.” [Bukowski ]

SEEK GOOD MEMORIES

That’s the best i can do now;

Drinking in sunset

Thought i; of golden moments

Poured into daydreams.

Drink bubbles of fantasy!

Forget tomorrows!

Celebrate your past tokens!

#NOTES:What Is a Kindku?The Kindku is an invitation to promote kindness, positivity and inspiration through poetry. As the last two letters of the name indicate, it is based on Japanese poetry forms like the haiku and tanka.

The RulesThe Kindku is a short poem of seven lines. The syllable pattern is 7 / 5 / 7 / 5 / 7 / 5 / 7 or 5 / 7 / 5 / 7 / 5 / 7 / 5.

The Kindku must include seven words that are taken from one specific source — a poem, a book, a newspaper article, etc. In the case of a book or long piece of writing, those words must come from the same page. Words must be used in the order they were found. Their placement also depends on the line:

Line 1 starts with word 1. Line 2 ends with word 2. Line 3 starts with word 3. Line 4 ends with word. 4

Line 5 starts with word 5. Line 6 ends with word 6. Line 7 starts or ends with word 7.

Kindku poems can have titles and punctuation. No matter the topic covered, they must sport a positive tone. Kindku poets are encouraged to credit and link to the inspirations behind their pieces.

She posted pictures of herself, the children grown, and the grandchildren. Smiles, hugs, fights, puppies and school activities. We all welcomed these pleasantries and looked forward for more.

But that year when she posted the reddening leaves of her maple. I felt a little jealous. You see, the old mango tree across the street from my house, was never going to perform such a feat of glory; still  its green leaves cling. And in my backyard the yellow leaves fallen after the rains of the night before, from the plumeria was of no consequence to an autumnal seasonal change.

[To Mark Let the poetic sound of moons and stars invade your night thoughts to give you sweet dreams always for in your dreams lies the happiness you truly want. hope you enjoy the book Michelle ]

GOODNIGHT MY SWEET

Shall i describe my moon to you,
Unlike that dame living in a shoe?

It's good to be under the open stars,
I' m surely nowhere near mars.

But is not your moon my moon?
Ah! to see you close i swoon.

For i read from pages of love,
And yearn for your tender love.

Just the way it used to be, sweet.
Goodnight my love until we meet.
