The art of happiness - a quadtille

Feeling the need of some happiness?

Maybe because you are sad,

Or people in your space are sad.

Do something nice for someone!

Smile with someone!

Listen to Soca music!

Dance as you listen !

Say a prayer for world peace.

'Happiness matters',  speak it!

 Posey

Yellow ixoras you stay open,

Once bloomed, through day

And through night;

Sleepless under Caribbean skies,

In your sweet umbrella forms,

Put you in a posey,

What would you represent?

Loveliness, continuity, happiness,

hopeful, joy, alluring

Ay yes,

I know, you would be enduring.

Lady Sings The Blues an old movie memory,
The music of sky from azure to cloudy
Blue plumbagos when they pop open like umbrellas.

These are a few of my blue thoughts today

And then there are mountains blue,
From the roundabout to stare at to be amazed,
A drink the colour of smurfs,
To delight children, restaurant fun.

These are a few of my blue thoughts today

The yellow  fog that rubs its back upon the window-panes, shed tears so much so, that leaves tremble under its weight, and loosen into the streets flooding areas

It is the lash of a season of hurricanes, even though the punishment is not meted out evenly

The thunder and lightnings sound their loud reports. They just cannot be about their business quietly, for it is the nature of thunder to sound out, even sometimes outside the season of Atlantic hurricanes

This Moon Is Enough

After an early supper,

There was she, hung

Bright bold and round,

The night moon;

I thought she was a supermoon,

Oh but no,

She was just the Februrary moon,

Shinning for me,

To end my birthday,

The waitress said,

There is a new ice cream shop,

On the floor below,

I said to myself,

This moon is enough.
