WHICH VIEW

Outside courts inside

Inside courts outside

It is about the view

It is no barrier really

Whether closed or open

Whether curtained or draped

Which side is whichside

The opened window

The winds drifts in

The eyes drift outward

The closed window

Keeping the rainy day out

Bringing the view of raindrops in.

REVOLUTION: a quadrille
Blue planet earth in her revolutions around god source sun chants her incantations.
Here's to darkness here's to light coldness and warmth Its power and might
 She moves her hips,
Puckering her lips,
 seduction of intense worth.
Round and round are nights and days

POUI YELLOWNESS

Sun shines its contentment

Yellow poui trees bloom resplendent

Dotting the mountains

Enlivening Savannahs

Easter bursts in yellow splendor

As trees awaken to surrender

The torture of hot dry days

Witness every reason to amaze

Wishing all a Happy Season of Easter

Given the line The seed of a poem lay dormant in my heart.  to use in a prose not more than 144 words

THE VERY RIGHT MOMENT
The seed of a poem lay dormant in my heart. I always wanted to hear those enduring words spoken softly like the twilight.

And here were we; candlelight and wine. And we eye to eye, misting up the moment.

This is when the words whirrled  around in my head. He was swirling his wine, sniffing it before he drank I held my glass, watching him.

Verses 1& 2 side by side
Life's Like That: a contrapuntal poem
Verses 1 and 2

She scoops dirt around the broken sprig.
That should fix it.
Why did she ever think it would survive?
She whispered: you have to be tough little one.

The night wind was too severe
 And so he had to call to break the date.
Her hopes would be shattered;
When he cancelled, he knew.

 Sips Not Gulps

The birds and the dogs;

Songs and barkings,

Do they know the measure of

Sun rays blazing like unsheathed swords?

Now depression sings her loudest tune.

On some hot days.

When lethargy seeps into bones;

Like a drizzle gobbled up on the scorching pavement.

The atmosphere weighs heavy on

Thinking, capacity and capability.

Squashing reason, goals, and drive; like thin pastry mix.

Some days are good.

 I can handle it.

Some days i'm in a pickle,  in a  fix.

Sip of water; not gulps, sips.

I wish upon a star,

My angels travel far.

I hear the moon is beautiful;

And sometimes wish i could,

See a closer view,

As only a zoom lens knew,

The beauty of sky land.

I wish upon a star,

My angels travel far.
