A WISH FOR SNOW
Books can open a door which swings;
Letting in longing for winter things.
Wishes are the wings of children;
That transport then though hidden.
If they are lucky enough they know;
They can leave their footprints in the snow.

ReplyDeleteHi Dwight. My granddaughter after her mom had read a story to her wished she could see snow. They live here in Trinidad🇹🇹They were going on a vacation later that year 2016. While on vacation. It did snow. I read my 2022 publication 'A Pan For Christmas' to some Children at the library near me. In the discussion about Christmas after the reading. One boy wished to see snow.

Lovely, Gillena. Many years ago when my aunt was the principal of a school in Miami, Florida, she had a snow machine come to create snow for the children at her school.
