Turn around or wait

Smile behind my mask

Nod and move on 

A bottle of wine

Wheeling to the cashier now.

An empty tomb
A victory sign
Death no more the conqueror

Our risen Lord
Promised fullfilled
No more slaves to sin and shame

Begin anew
covenant made
His wrath no more his mercy still

Tomorrow brings
Message of hope
No more darkness through lack of faith

His Holy Spirit
will come to visit
Fear no more but courage now

Resurrection the gift
If accepted
No more shall we for anything lack

HE'S COMING
They just didn't understand, no!
couldn't get it,
would you have then?
and would i have?

He spoke of a temple rebuilt,
in three days time
when destructed.
A mad man's rant!

For surely this is what they thought,
The Son of God?
In flesh and blood?
Simple and plain?

Yet He died and He rose again.
Thence in a cloud,
ascended and,
will come again.

ah yes a tomb, entombed, non too soon;
for words, presaged this death, divinely ordered;
love takes; well, as we know it;
so who gives of his only, hard to explain

she was struck not by a rock, words from winged ones;
“He is not here, he is risen, go tell Peter and the others”
