PASSION'S PUZZLE
So sweet and sad heaving bosom
She may shun him oh so handsome
Poor soul he fears himself go mad
Who pluck at way for her blossom
That torture to wavering lad
Heaving bosom so sweet and sad
The rose is red but that is why
Too many tears she cannot cry
And if perchance she takes to bed
For only there to lay and sigh
At verses written or just read
But that is why the rose is red

Wow Gillena, what an inspiring website and such a different layout to mine.
ReplyDeleteI bow to your experience and to your sighing red rose, distracting the lad with her heaving breast... {hugs}

Gillena that was so good...the sweet bosom, so intoxicating for a lad who needs the feminine to feel complete, and yet the breasts so sad, and the rose so powerfully raw red....a verse full of emotion...

I like the "myth" poem and appreciate your compassion not only for the rose but for the one who would hope to pluck it.
