April and the colour yellow sings her loudest
Poui beckon with their come hither blossoms
Easter breezes for surely smile the heartiest
Big hats; wide and mad, and gaudily displayed
Trumpets the name April, yellow sings her loudest
Baby chicks fluffy and cute so tenderly chirp
Into hearts of those admiring children fastest
And the sweet faces of bunnies, ears twitching
Tails bobbed to pompom style, the fanciest
Will nibble at your finger if you try to feed them
Tis the month of April, yellow sings her loudest.

Here it would be hard not to notice all the beautiful yellow things in April. Young poplar leaves, daffodils, dandelions, buttercups...
