His Pen Unsheathed
Begging not a pardon
Poet's pen scribbles
Merrily merrily to conjour
Pumpkins under Hunter moon
Pompous emporers
Stark naked before
A crowd too astonised
To snicker at him or themselves
Who unsheats his pen
To slaughter like an abbatoir
Those dared to slander
The good of a people
Meditate to godhead
Tis poetry's pen
Not that of the poet
Penned and done

Reads like a sermon, Gillena, one the parishioners should heed. Very good graphic to go with the poem.
