ZONE OF DOUBLE
What lure the likes of reflection holds,
For a heart to beat after its own
Folly to apples poison the fairest
And moon round and full there to behold

Who is vanity then to want of reason

Mirror mirror held in speculation
Becomes the verdict lends the sway of
Ancients claiming old souls thrust in today
Why worry at scars of time's passing

    Personally, I think scars add character.
    But yes, anything that mars the visage can be worrisome for many. Whether it is on the face, or on the soul.

    We all have a story. It is what makes us up. Scars and all.

    Nice rhythm in this. Makes it rather haunting.

    Yes, looking at someone whose face has no lines of work, hurt or worry or even sunburn it appears blank and unreadable because there is no story inside only vanity.
