SPICY SORTS
Sometimes, tears are just that, salty reminders.
Like onion rings on chopping boards;
Concentric multi-layered.
Then there are sneezes, when black pepper,
Sprinkles into loneliness, and no one's about
To say gesundheit.
Longing recalls warmly, nutmeg, grated
Into sticky dough, for coconut sweet bread

Wonderful! I especially like the sneezes from black pepper. At my house, whenever I sneeze after adding black pepper to a dish, I say, "That's it! I'm never cooking with pepper again." Of course, I do, because it's such a delicious spice.
