    Card games are fun, it is fun to win but okay if you don't.
    In Texas we play a domino game called 42, some call it Texas 42.
    Players bid, the bidding winner names the suit, or a non-suite variety. Point count must equal or best the bid. One point for each trick, there are seven of these. 0-5, 1-4, and 2-3 count five, double five counts ten. 4-6 also counts ten, for a total possible take in of 42 points.
    It is fairly simple, some play harder than others.
    Oh yes, we have three tables of four, total 12 people. The couple whose house it is played in cooks a supper for the group. We rotate where we play.
