A happy and blessed Holy Week to all
Is it just me or do you all find that this Month of March, flew fast and furious.
Already we are at  the last Monday of March.
You've heard about the Monday Blues well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance for eg the rite of afternoon tea).
Welcome to Monday WRites #291: A Happy Monday to all. Be Safe.

Cherry Blossoms

❧✿❧

Trees around the savannah, must be happy, now. Its dress up time again. I saw one of the Pink Poui dotted pink as i passed by. It's that time again Holy week pulling us into Easter, colour coding our flowering trees. Colour on the potted Crown-of-Thorn keeps deepening as Good Friday approaches.

Will there will be  kite flying in the savannah, or will folks want to stay at home observing Covid19 protocols. Guess i will not be privy to answers, since i will be staying at home. Not that i mind, i have grown accustomed to Covid19 monk-dom.

  7. I agree the month of March has flown by. I like the symbolism of the colors of the flowers as they connect to Easter. Hoping by next Easter, our monk-dom will be a distant memory.

  11. What a lovely way to describe the trees around the savannah, Gillena, as happy! And all that colour! What a shame cherry blossoms are too delicate for your climate – I’ll post more photos when our tree blossoms. Happy Easter!

  18. Hi Gillena, I hope you had an OK Easter in spite of the restrictions of Covid. We stayed home too! Hopeful that next year will be better, but we too are getting used to the “monkdom” as you cleverly put it!
