Quadrille 124
Knot

❧✿❧

Quadrille - knots
Lanyards on uniforms blue,
That's the way i remember, camp fire songs;
Nights under stars we hadn't a clue,
Those days we did belong;
Affirmations like 'be prepared'
Tying  clove hitch,  slip,  and friendship knots,
We sang life, caregivers cared,
They charted our dots.

  13. Good memories for many. I'm sure there was much more to learn in tying those knots than the obvious skills. I think patience would be one.
