FLIGHT TO THE GODS
Swiftly to fly away
On wings through sky that way
How wonderous dreams do say

That birds alone
Are bound air bright have shown
Irony of man in magical pearly abalone
 
For smoke reaches the Gods in stealth
Slowly from shell of purifying wealth

#NOTE
In some Native American cultures, the shell of the abalone is used to burn sage. They believe the combined spiritual power of abalone and sage would take their messages to their Gods.
